James Herbert Flatters

 

Born October 29th 1887, in Brightside, Sheffield, Yorkshire, the husband of Florence Flatters, of 22 Edmunds Main, Worsbrough Dale, near Barnsley, Yorkshire. In civil life he was employed as a miner at Barrow Colliery. ADM/171 = St.V.B. issued to Widow.

Enlisted as Private No.13193 in The York and Lancaster Regiment 3/9/14 & transferred to RNVR 8/9/14 ; Drake Bn. 8/1/15-21/10/15 Pyrexia Unknown Origin, rejoined Drake Bn. 2/12/15-4/12/15 DD.

Buried at Brigade Dump Cemetery, RND Sector by Rev. C.W.G. Moore 4/12/15.
