12/851 Pte Frank Oldfield Appleby, born All Saints Sheffield 1893. killed in action 1st july 1916, no known grave. recommended for gallantry award 15th/16th May '16. He dug some men out of a collapsed dug out under fire. Worked at Sheffield Savings Bank and lived at 163 Ellesmere Road.

12/1036 Pte Steven G Rowley

12/997 Cpl Arnold Moore. A Signaller known in Signal Station as 'Oranges' because he ate a lot of them.

12/1066 Pte Charles William Taylor. Born Retford, Notts 1890. killed in action 1st July 1916. No known grave.

12/965 Pte Walter Hutton

12/1042 Pte Norris Scaife, Wounded 1st Jul 1916. Lived at 53 Crookes Rd, Sheffield

12/1097 LCpl Noel Wilcock, Born Sheffield 1893, Killed 1st July 1916, Buried in Queens MC Serre. Lived at 5 Priory Road, Sheffield

12/879 Pte Archie Brammer, born Walkley 1894, killed in action 1st July 1916. buried Serre, France. Lived at 91 Car Bank Rd. On July 1st was seen almost in Serre then dissapeared from view.

12/885 Pte Charles Walter Budds. Born 1896. Killed in action 8 Sep 1918 while serving as a 2Lt with 5 KOYLI. Buried in Gouzeaucourt, France. Emloyed by Sheffield Savings Bank.
