Frank Cordon

Submitted by Lynn Cordon

Frank was Lynn’s grandfather.

He was a Driver with the Royal Field Artillery, #223108. He lived and enlisted at Sheffield. Frank survived the war and died in September 1987 at Sheffield.
He was awarded the Victory and the British War Medals.

Lynn's Grandfather fought in Mesopotamia. After the war he was arrested and put in prison somewhere in the York area for refusing to go to fight in
Russia. Lynn thinks he served six months. lynn can find no records for this. Lynn's grandmother came home and found him being taken away by the Redcaps.
